What is Success?
For one thing, I have always had a sense, and operated from the assumption that success of the individual is paramount to the creation of healthy communities, a healthy society - A civilization.
That has been my thesis, and I think that it has borne out.
My Life's work, that of Roxbury Live-Work-Research Community for The Advancement of Thae Living Arts and Sciences for The Betterment of Worldkind (the philosophy of "Home") and Atlas Design Company (the philosophy of "Work") have been based upon this premise.
At the bottom line, my observations, and experiences have shown that when individuals act for their own effectiveness, self-actualization and that of the family unit - that this actualization has immense consequences for everything that they come into contact with - it expands outward in ever widening concentric circles of immensely positive, constructive influence.
We are only as strong as our weakest link.
I am an American, I was fortunate to have been won The Ovarian Lottery and was born into these United States of America - I think in a way, that though the United States is a world superpower - we are still the kooksters of the world, the rogues, the intrepid explorers, the mavericks -
The Great American Experiment has shewed that individuals of daring, on a strong foundation of secured civil liberties and human rights truly can excel - I think that that, in our early days was the biggest lesson that which was eagerly devoured by The French Revolution, The Bolshevik Revolution, and later influences to The UK, and The European Union -
The great American Experiment became a model for the rest of humanity because it was a crazy vision that became a wilde success.
And it hinged upon the vast resources of the continent of North America and upon an industrious frugal people that understood the essential concept of a "Value Added Product." -
It is folly to export our raw materials - wood, metals, etc before first sculpting those materials into a product that thereby has added value through design, prototyping, and manufacturing.
Cast out in an untamed land, our forefathers had to innovate or cease to exist.
this spirit of innovation, made possible by the checks and balances of state and federal powers, the securing of civil liberties and human rights
This broad base of civil liberties not only create a fertile territory for the success of the individual through free enterprise, but ensured it.
Part of the precipitous downfall and decline of American Civilization, and the waning of this experiment is that early seeds cast of xenophobia, the idea that "All men are created equal, but some are more equal than others" --- were nourished until they have become a virulent kudzu run rampant through the empire and are hindering progress at every turn.
Americans have always had an "Us vs. them, me against the world" sort of mentality, that though is of sound practice for a scattershot of human beings in a vast wilderness is not conducive to a country with a population that has now pressed from sea to shining sea.
In an civilization of millions upon millions of people - how can it ever survive if every one of those persons has decided to "go my own way, everyone else be damned."
Rugged Individualism has become both a relic of a long gone era, and also more necessary than ever for the survival of these United States.
Another problem is how religious monomania and dark ages -esque dogma has crippled the education of our children, the future leaders of our county almost since its beginning.
The American Education system has long been more propaganda than the edification and expansion of the human consciousness, and thereby the human soul.
yet somethiing else, was that the United States still does not nearly fully exploit one of its greatest untapped human resources: the female species.
Dogma and religious mania that has been handed down from our calvinist framers via fairy tales held that Women were the origins of evil in the world, and therefore had nothing to offer. And that they must be subjugatd, penalized, and suppressed entirely to ensure the salvation of mankind.
But since mankind is also evil, and all of his children - there can be little good in this world of men, and so all of this splendor is merely a celebrity architect designed airport during a snowstorm and we must patiently wait for our next arrival : Kingdom Come.
Sadly, after thousands of years, and several hundred years of American History - much of the State Architecture still functions from these assumptions, because the actors of that architecture , they themselves still believe in dogma based upon code written down aeons ago by a Moses desperate to keep his band of brothers alive as they wandered in the desert for half a century ---
The American Civilization, like most civilizations, has failed to edify man's spirit, to raise him up - to elevate him and of his self - whereby he can claim the true mantle of his powers, and bring all this into a new era - and a new abundance.
A thinking of wealth, rather than a mindset of poverty that empoverishes all.
Man, deemed of value, and as man values himself - his stooped and begrudged statue is raised up, and himself raised up in his own estimation - naturally creates wealth, in all its forms - and bestows that wealth upon the rest of humanity.
Another thing, yet again - the United states has been a victim of its own success because it has created wealth in and of its own sake.
The creation of great piles is the end product, whereas it ought to be the beginning.
A man who accumulates wealth does so not merely to have a great horde to preside over, but to utilize that wealth for some greater end - if not for the greater good but for the entirety of humanity, and this troubled planet.
A man who is inherently wealthy, in the greater sense of the word - naturally wants to bestow wealth upon all people, and all things that ask of his nourishment. and without which, wither and die -
So much of our potential is aborted, or otherwise is still born.
Most often the richest men of the planet are not wealthy - because their spirits are racked by privation and sterility - never having educated their inner selves, their great piles only become Armories - whereby they inflict their own special brand of terror upon the world.
The American System , in a dangerous auto-pilot now, which may breed tailspin (if it hasn't already) utilize's the 99% as merely drones in the creation of only greater piles - in desperate times, we see advertising, consumerism is ever more virulent.
We are told, by the 1%, and thus tell ourselves - that the poverty of our spirits can only be filled by acquisitiveness and avarice.
When that, is the false heaven - and we are forever running - like a horse whose carrot dangles on a pole ever 5 feet out of reach - the faster he runs, the faster runs the carrot - always just out of reach.
Are We men, progeny of God? Created in his image, or are We merely beasts of burden?
Here is a Queery-Question for you folks.
I was drawing dots arranged in squares on graph paper , when I decided to account for the ratio of a previous square whole number to its next square whole number.
I then plotted those ratios on a cartesian grid, and found that same said ratios decrease over time.
I am sure that this has been studied to death in mathematics, and I am merely a Maths beginner --- but it seems a curious phenomenon to me.
For some reason, it seems to me that the ratio of squares of a whole number to its previous whole number would stay the same.
I am really curious as to why this is.

In January of 2o15, we moved into Our current location of Atlas Works, In Bellingham, Washington State, Us-of-A and began to experiment with prototypes for what could be constructed from recycled aluminum cans. The first result of that was The Hobo Pinwheel:
Then Came the Hobo Pinwheel 2.o - Self Regulating.
Followed by The Coconut Water Can Wind Engine
Figures and animals in Volumetric Wire
Garden Vessels in Volumetric Wire
In May of 2o17 -The Weekly publishing of "Life in Iz" Cartoons began via Rx~Press
Life in Iz Merchandise
Mechanical Planters with Wind powered features constructed from Upcycled Wood first became available in July of 2o17
We Currently have one new product ready to be released, and one more to follow on its heels
